Witsel renews contract with Atletico Madrid!

According to Marca, Axel Witsel is on the verge of renewing his contract with Atletico Madrid.

The Belgian player joined the club as a free agent from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, and once the renewal is confirmed, he will serve the Red and White Brigade for three more seasons.

Witsel arrived at the club on a free transfer after his contract expired, becoming one of Atletico's most valuable signings in recent seasons.

So far, he has made 89 appearances for Atletico, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
