In the sixth round of the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur salvaged a draw with a stoppage-time goal, finishing 1-1 against Wolves and recording their second consecutive league draw.
In the early hours of Sunday, the Spurs hosted the Wolves, who had yet to secure a win this season. Despite being widely expected to claim all three points at home, the hosts were dragged into a tough battle.
Wolves struck first through Hugo Bueno’s goal, but Spurs avoided defeat thanks to Palhinha’s crucial equaliser in stoppage time.

Spurs Climb Into Top Three, Wolves Still Bottom
Currently, Spurs hold a record of 3 wins, two draws, and one loss, accumulating 11 points to sit third in the standings. Wolves, who ended a run of five straight defeats, picked up their first point of the season with one draw and five losses, but remain bottom of the league.
First-Half Efforts Denied, Offside Goal Ruled Out
Spurs applied heavy pressure in the first half, especially in the 27th minute when Kudus and Berrival combined on the right wing. Kudus then fired in with his left foot, but the referee ruled the goal out for offside. The first half ended in a scoreless tie, 0-0.

Bueno Breaks the Deadlock in the Second Half
In the 54th minute, Wolves broke the deadlock through a corner kick. The goalkeeper saved Krejci’s header, but the rebound deflected off a Spurs player and fell back into the box, allowing Hugo Bueno to slot the ball home and give Wolves a 1-0 lead.
Palhinha’s Last-Gasp Equaliser
As the match entered stoppage time, Spurs struggled to break through Wolves’ defence. In the 94th minute, Sarr received a pass inside the box and laid it off for Palhinha, who unleashed a long-range strike from outside the area.
With goalkeeper Johnstone’s vision blocked, he failed to react in time, and Spurs secured a dramatic 1-1 draw.

Forest Fall Again, Sunderland Climb the Table
In another match, Nottingham Forest continued their poor run under their new manager, suffering a 0-1 home defeat to Sunderland.
Since Korug took charge, Forest has played five matches, managing just two draws and three defeats. Meanwhile, Sunderland climbed to fourth in the table with 11 points from 3 wins, two draws, and one loss.

Tightening Battle on the Table
After this round, the Premier League table has become increasingly competitive. Spurs and Sunderland moved into the upper ranks, while Wolves and Nottingham Forest remain stuck at the bottom. As the season progresses, the upcoming fixtures will further test each team’s ability to adjust and respond.
