In the highlight match of Serie A Round 6, Juventus and AC Milan battled to a 0-0 draw at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
Both teams were evenly matched, with Juventus holding a slight edge in possession (51%), while the Rossoneri recorded more shots (13 to 11) and more on target (4 to 3). However, Milan failed to capitalise on their best scoring chance of the night.
In the 55th minute, Luka Modrić delivered a precise through ball to Jiménez, who was brought down in the penalty area by a Juventus defender. The referee immediately awarded a penalty. Yet, U.S. captain Christian Pulisic, who had scored four goals in the first five rounds, missed the crucial spot kick, denying Milan the chance to secure a vital victory.

Pulisic’s Miss Becomes the Turning Point, Allegri Expresses Frustration
The missed penalty cost AC Milan the opportunity to earn their fifth consecutive league win, while Juventus extended their streak of draws across all competitions to five matches.
Milan were visibly disappointed with the result. According to Italian media reports, head coach Massimiliano Allegri expressed frustration after Pulisic’s miss, saying: “I had already told him not to use the inside of his foot for penalties!”
After the match, Allegri admitted during interviews that missing penalties is part of the game. Still, he also praised Pulisic for showing greater energy and determination afterwards, highlighting the American’s positive attitude and fighting spirit.

League Table Shake-Up, Milan Drop to Third
With Napoli and Roma both winning their matches this round, the two clubs are now tied at 15 points. Milan’s draw leaves them on 13 points, dropping to third place, while Inter Milan and Juventus both sit close behind with 12 points, in fourth and fifth respectively.

Juventus’ Draw Streak Continues, Tudor Remains Optimistic
Despite remaining unbeaten with three wins and three draws, Juventus have not celebrated a victory since their thrilling 4-3 win over Inter Milan in September’s “Derby d’Italia.” Since then, they have been held to five straight draws.
In his post-match press conference, Juventus head coach Igor Tudor addressed the ongoing draw streak. He pointed out that, apart from Verona, the other four recent opponents were all strong sides.

Tudor stated that he is not worried about the team’s current form, emphasising that the squad is united and continues to work hard together.
This draw saw AC Milan miss out on a golden chance to reclaim the top spot, while Juventus remain stuck in their string of stalemates. Both teams will need to quickly regroup and refocus if they hope to return to winning ways in the coming matches.
