Fabrizio Romano, a well-known journalist, says that Jack Grealish, a former England international and “£100 million man,” has passed his medical exam and is ready to transfer from Manchester City to Everton on loan.
Romano says that Grealish will go to Everton on loan with a £50 million buyout clause that the player himself will be able to utilize. The 29-year-old England winger’s deal with Manchester City lasts until 2027, and Transfermarkt says he is worth €28 million right now.

Glory and Honours at Manchester City
Grealish moved from Aston Villa to Manchester City in August 2021 for a record-breaking £100 million. He won the Premier League title in his first season, which was his childhood dream.
In the 2022/23 season, he was a key player on City’s historic treble-winning team. He started both the FA Cup final against Manchester United and the Champions League final victory against Inter Milan. He won the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup, which helped City keep all five of their major titles at the same time.
Grealish played 157 times for the club, scored 17 goals, and won three Premier League crowns, one FA Cup, one Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup, and one FIFA Club World Cup.

Seeking New Opportunities and a Return to His Best
However, injuries in the 2023/24 season saw him gradually lose his place in Pep Guardiola’s starting XI, making just seven league starts and ultimately missing out on England’s Euro 2024 squad.
Grealish turned down numerous lucrative offers from teams in other countries because he wanted to make sure he had regular playing time and a chance to return to the national team. Instead, he stayed in the northwest of England to be close to his young family.
David Moyes, the manager of Everton, has told Grealish that he will have the chance to get back to his best at Goodison Park and battle for a spot on Thomas Tuchel’s England team.

Looking Ahead to the New Season
Grealish is set to sign with Everton on Tuesday officially, and he wants to be ready for the club’s first Premier League game of the season against Leeds United later this week.
In an official statement, Manchester City wished their former star all the best for the future and praised him for his contributions to the club.

The former Premier League record signing is starting a new chapter with Everton. He’s not only looking for more playing time but also to show that he can still be outstanding at the highest level.
Fans will be observing as the new season begins to see if he can get his rhythm and confidence back at Goodison Park and write another great chapter in his football career.
