In a crucial Ligue 1 Round 11 match, Paris Saint-Germain beat Nice 1–0 thanks to Ramos’s game-winning header deep into stoppage time. PSG stayed at the top of the standings and extended its unbeaten record to six games with the win.
This win not only gave Les Parisiens three crucial points, but it also made them even more dominant in the title battle, giving them a strong lead as the season goes on.

PSG Stays On Top And Keeps Winning
PSG didn’t play as well at home as they usually do from the start. Their pace in the first half was slow, and their passing wasn’t sharp, which gave Nice plenty of chances to score.
In the 32nd minute, Nice striker Opong shot from the right side of the box, and it looked like the ball was going to go over the goal line.
But Kvaratskhelia made a key header clearance on the line, just barely keeping PSG from giving up a goal. That defensive play was one of the few bright spots for the home team in the first half.

PSG Speed Up After the Break
PSG cranked up their offence after the break. In the 65th minute, Kvaratskhelia made a perfect cross that Barcola headed barely over the bar.
Coach Luis Enrique quickly changed the way the team played by bringing in Fabián Ruiz and Lee Kang-in to improve passing and control in midfield. PSG had a lot of the ball, but it was hard for them to get past Nice’s well-organised defence.
Lee Kang-in produced another cross from the top right of the penalty arc in the 80th minute. Ramos’ header hit the right post, which was so close to a breakthrough.
Finally, in the 94th minute of stoppage time, PSG scored the winning goal. Kvaratskhelia headed the ball across the goal from a corner on the right side. Ramos then jumped high to head it hard into the net, giving the home team a stunning win.

Ramos Scores The Game-Winning Goal In His 100th Game
This was Ramos’ second Ligue 1 goal of the season and his fifth goal in all competitions. It was also a big deal because it was his 100th game for Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG stays at the top of the Ligue 1 rankings after this win, two points ahead of Marseille. Marseille also won a challenging game against Auxerre, 1–0, thanks to Gómez’s goal in the 30th minute. They are still very close in the title fight.
