Messi remains the highest-valued player in MLS!

According to the latest update from the German data site Transfer Market, Lionel Messi’s market value in Major League Soccer has dropped by 5 million euros, bringing his current valuation to 20 million euros.

Despite this decline, Messi remains the highest-valued player in MLS. His previous market value was 25 million euros.

Although his value has decreased, 20 million euros still reflects his high worth, not only in MLS but also among players over 34.

Messi’s value surpasses that of 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo and Polish forward Robert Lewandowski by 5 million euros. 

This season, Messi has made 25 appearances for Inter Miami, scoring 23 goals and providing 13 assists.

Messi’s contract with Inter Miami is set to expire at the end of 2025.

However, the club’s owner has expressed confidence in extending Messi’s contract through the end of 2026.
