The 38-year-old Portuguese footballer Nani has announced that he is officially ending his playing career.

Nani shared the news on his social media: “It’s time to say goodbye. I have decided to end my playing career.
Over the course of his illustrious 20-year career, Nani won numerous major titles, including multiple Premier League trophies with Manchester United and the UEFA Euro 2016 championship with Portugal.
During his peak years at Manchester United, Nani was known for his flair, dribbling skills, and ability to score stunning goals, often drawing comparisons to his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.

Nani began his career in the youth academy of Sporting CP and made his professional debut there as a free agent.
In 2007, he joined Manchester United from Sporting CP, where he became well known during his time at the club.

In 2014, Nani was loaned back to Sporting CP by Manchester United, and after a year, he ended his United career and moved to Fenerbahçe.
