In a highlight clash of Round 10 of the Saudi Arabian League, Al Nassr cruised to a 3–0 home victory over Al Akhdoud, once again underlining their overwhelming dominance this season.
With the win, Al Nassr completed a perfect start of ten consecutive victories, becoming the first team in Saudi league history to achieve a 10-game winning streak at the beginning of a season.
Ronaldo Once Again in the Spotlight
The biggest storyline of the match once again revolved around Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. At 40 years of age, Ronaldo showed no signs of slowing down, scoring twice to open the door to victory and delivering yet another statement performance.
From the opening whistle, Al Nassr firmly controlled proceedings. In the 35th minute, they capitalised on a corner kick, with Ronaldo rising highest in the penalty area to head home and give the hosts the lead.

Ronaldo and Félix Combine for the Win
Deep into first-half stoppage time, Ronaldo struck again. Displaying his trademark goal-scoring instinct, he finished cleverly with a back-heel from close range to complete his brace and extend the advantage to 2–0.
Ronaldo nearly completed a hat-trick in the 67th minute, but the goal was ruled out due to an offside call on a teammate. Despite that disappointment, Al Nassr continued to dictate the tempo and leave their opponents chasing shadows.
In stoppage time, Portuguese forward João Félix calmly slotted home to seal the result, confirming a comprehensive 3–0 win.

Al Nassr Stay Top, Pull Clear of Al Hilal
With this victory, Al Nassr have collected the maximum 30 points from their first ten matches and now sit comfortably at the top of the table. They hold a four-point advantage over city rivals Al Hilal, further strengthening their grip on first place.
On an individual level, Ronaldo’s numbers remain staggering. He has featured in all ten league matches, scoring in nine of them for a total of 12 goals, tying him with Félix at the top of the scoring charts.
Throughout 2025, Ronaldo has now reached 40 goals, marking the 14th time in his career that he has scored 40 or more goals in a calendar year. His career total has also climbed to an astonishing 956 goals.

Ronaldo: “The Season Is Long, We Must Keep Going”
Speaking after the match, Ronaldo struck a composed and determined tone: “We are definitely on the right path, but the key is not to stop. The season is still very long. No team becomes champion halfway through the season; we have to keep working hard.”
It is precisely this focus and self-discipline that have propelled Al Nassr’s remarkable run. As the season progresses, whether they can sustain this historic start through to the finish line will be one of the most compelling storylines in the Saudi Arabian League this year.
