According to talkSPORT, Spurs have turned their attention to Kudus after cooling their interest in Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze. The 23-year-old impressed during his debut Premier League season, and Tottenham are believed to be particularly drawn to his versatility and attacking threat.
Kudus made a strong impression at West Ham following his move from Ajax last summer, scoring 8 goals in the Premier League and adding 3 assists. Across all competitions, he netted 14 goals, a standout return for a player in his first season in England. Within Tottenham’s ranks, there is confidence that Kudus can become a double-digit scorer in the Premier League and flourish under manager Ange Postecoglou.

The report also notes that Kudus is open to a move to North London. He’s believed to be interested in playing at a higher level and challenging for European places, something Spurs can offer as they continue to rebuild under Postecoglou.
However, West Ham is not ready to sell. The club sees Kudus as a key figure in their plans, especially under new head coach Julen Lopetegui, who is keen to retain his best talent. Unless Spurs return with a significantly improved offer, West Ham are expected to stand their ground.

Should Kudus eventually leave, West Ham has identified potential replacements, including Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka and Newcastle’s Lewis Hall. Both players are seen as promising young talents who could help fill the creative void.
Kudus has also attracted interest from Saudi clubs this summer, including Al Nassr. Interestingly, his contract includes a £120 million release clause specifically for Saudi Arabian teams. However, both Al Nassr and Tottenham reportedly believe West Ham could be persuaded to sell for far less if the player pushes for an exit.

Signed from Ajax in 2023 for a fee of around €38 million, Kudus is currently under contract with West Ham until the summer of 2028. In just one season, he has become a fan favourite at the London Stadium, offering flair, drive, and flexibility in multiple attacking roles, whether as a winger, attacking midfielder, or even a second striker.
Tottenham are expected to return with an improved offer in the coming weeks. If they succeed, Kudus could become a central figure in their quest to break back into the Premier League’s top four.
