Liverpool seeks to renew Salah’s contract with a pay cut!

According to Egyptian media reports, Liverpool proposed a contract renewal with Salah for 2-3 years at a reduced salary, but the Egyptian star directly rejected the offer.

The report states that Liverpool finally compromised on the contract duration, after initially insisting on offering one-year deals to players over 30. 

However, due to Salah’s excellent performances, Liverpool agreed to offer him a 2-3 year deal, but with the condition of a pay cut.

Salah’s camp rejected the salary reduction and declined the contract offer, stating that they are waiting for a new proposal from Liverpool.

Currently, Salah’s weekly wage at Liverpool is £350,000, and his contract will expire this summer.
