In the fourth round of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich once again displayed its formidable attacking power, defeating Hoffenheim 4–1 and maintaining its perfect start to the season at the top of the league table. 

The standout performer of the match was undoubtedly star striker Harry Kane, who stole the spotlight with a brilliant hat-trick.

During the first half, Bayern dominated possession but struggled to break down Hoffenheim’s defence. It wasn’t until the 44th minute that Kane finally found the breakthrough.

At that moment, Bayern won a corner on the right side, with Karl sending the ball into the box. Kane quickly darted into an open space and calmly slotted a low shot past goalkeeper Baumann, giving Bayern the lead.

Penalties Shift the Momentum in the Second Half

Just one minute into the second half, Idari committed a handball inside the penalty area, and the referee immediately awarded a spot-kick. Kane stepped up with composure and converted, extending the lead to 2–0.

In the 74th minute, Olise was brought down in the box while under pressure from two defenders. After VAR review, the referee awarded another penalty. Kane once again made no mistake from the spot, completing his hat-trick of the match. This goal not only secured Bayern’s victory but also marked Kane’s second hat-trick of the season.

Hoffenheim’s Response Not Enough Against Bayern’s Dominance

Although Hoffenheim pulled one back in the 82nd minute, their hopes of a comeback were short-lived. In stoppage time, Gnabry added Bayern’s fourth goal, sealing a convincing 4–1 victory.

The win not only gave Bayern their fourth consecutive league victory but also set a new Bundesliga record 18 goals scored in the first four rounds, the most by any team in the competition’s history.

Kane’s Red-Hot Form Breaks Records

Kane’s form this season has been nothing short of sensational. Across all competitions, he has scored 13 goals in just seven matches. His tally already includes two hat-tricks and three braces, highlighting his incredible efficiency. 

Notably, Kane has converted all 17 penalties he has taken in the Bundesliga, becoming the first player in league history to score his first 17 spot-kicks without a miss.
